It's an exciting time right now in comics. There are so many talented folks out there, not only working for the Big Two, but beyond. 'Wild Blue Yonder'. 'Invincible'. John Tiffany series. And so many more- too many to mention!- out there. Definitely a new era of illustration and storytelling and graphic art, advancing our craft as they go.
One of the most exciting advents in all of the aforementioned disciplines comes out this week. 'The 5th Beatle'; written by Vivek Tiwary and illustrated by . I believe that this book changes graphic novels as we view them- it's that good. Originally conceived as a Broadway play converted to the graphic novel format (with editorial help from yours truly), this book reaches the stratosphere due to Andrew's ridiculous talents. You don't have to care about the Beatles; this book is above a simple biography of the times and life of Brian Epstein.

Great piece and I totally agree--what a great time in this biz! And excited for the 5th Beatle!
Can't wait for this Beatles book by Andrew!
I am super looking forward to this! Bet converting it was a fun task.
It was actually! I went up to Andrew's place and worked on it for three days, with a lot of input from Andrew. That, and my novel, were my catalysts to get into writing and slowly back away from inking. I say slowly because I still do it full time, lol.
it's fantastic to know that this is coming out. I remember when you showed me the first work coming in for it. it's going to be a stunner!
Yeah I cannot wait for this!
